Do I need previous dance experience to come to a Shindig?

No previous experience is required! We teach basic social dance steps. If you are having fun, you’re doing it right!

Do I need to bring a partner?

Absolutely not! You will be paired for partner dancing if you arrived solo. Although rotating partners is not mandatory, it is highly encouraged!

Are the lessons free?

Pop-ups are generally free, however, we have a few pop-ups where tickets are required which will be specified in the event flyer and in our events calendar.

For pop-ups with tickets, do I need to purchase them ahead of time?

Ahead of time purchase is the only way to guarantee your spot! Especially for venues with small dance floors where we can only accomodate a certain number, buying ahead of time is strongly recommended.

What methods of payment do you accept?

We always accept cash and Venmo for in-person payments. We also have payment system online at our “Events“ link.

So ice cream and dance…where is the ice cream??

For the time being, we only have ice cream at private events and at select ticketed events - keep an eye out for the next scoop session!
